Chasing his dream of converting Indore city into a green city, Shri Bhandari is also giving his valuable contribution as the Chieft Co-ordinator in “The Green Indore Movement”. This eco-friendly project would invite participation from people belonging to all walks of life complete its objective of planting 5 lacs saplings, thus helping city to abate pollution and promote a healthy environment.

As an enlightened part of the society he has propagated the message of conservation of energy. He founded the National institute – industry forum for energy(NIFE) and played important role in bringing together people from institute and industries to contribute towards the global issue. As the general secretary of the organization he has organized more than 135 seminars and workshops at national and international level. He has also arranged energy quiz competitions and helped spread the message of conservation of the environment.

CENTRE FOR ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT (CEPRD)

CEPRD (Center for Environment Protection Research & Development) is a voluntary NGO which came into being on 6 June, 1996 as a result of the voluntary efforts of the enlightened and environment loving citizen of Indore. The rapid deterioration of the environment in Indore and neighboring Malwa region impelled a few enlightened and conscious citizen including industrialist social worker doctor teacher and judge to get together and work selflessly, without Government aid towards the betterment, preservation, research and development of Indore in particular with wider focus on Malwa Region, Madhya Pradesh, India and the world at large. The organization has worked all these years on the principal of “Act locally and Thinks globally”. The CEPRD is thus a body of crusaders for protection and development of environment, using modern research, technology and know how with committed public participation.

      To ensure the achievement of its vast objectives, the CEPRD has 8 working groups working at grass root level with experts, specialists and social activists as core member of each faculty. All the senior, technical, scientific and professional experts specialization in subject pertaining to different faculties are also associated in advisory capacity. The faculties are-
